2015: Don Advises Nigerians To Elect True Leaders

A member of the recently concluded National Conference, Prof. Yusufu Turaki, has advised Nigerians to vote wisely during the February general elections and elect credible and competent leaders who have the capability of solving the myriad of problems bedeviling the country.

Turaki gave the advice while presenting a paper during a political awareness seminar organised by the Church of Christ in Nation (COCIN) tagged: “2015 Election and Me”, held at the COCIN headquarters church in Jos, Plateau State.

He noted that the country needs a true leader and not one who is in dare need of leadership, adding that leadership is not for self aggrandisement but to bring about the needed transformational change and development.

Turaki further charged Nigerians to know the importance of their votes and advised the electorates to use the power of their votes wisely so that they will not become political slaves after the 2015 general elections.

According to him, Nigeria as a nation cannot develop unless the problem of ethno-centrism is tackled headlong so as to allow both the leaders and the followers to pursue genuine nationhood, citizenship, development and national interest.

Not only that, she has also been swathing him with patronage, especially from all the companies where her retired and tired husband wields enormous influence.

And for their rendezvous, both of them normally journey abroad where they are not known. But usually separately to avoid being detected.

The fourth alphabet is occupying a unique place in the life of this woman who doesn’t joke with her lover boy, and in spite of being a no-nonsense woman usually turns jelly at the sight and mention of the name of her gap-toothed and roguishly handsome younger lover.

Besides the security business which she has been promoting secretly for her lover, spoiling him silly with expensive gifts is an everyday affair.

And trust the lover boy, he’s lapping it up, thanking his God and also his destiny for this goldmine that he can’t seem to get enough of.
