The Dana Airline, has said that it would begin flight operations into the West Africa region by the second quarter of 2015. Mr Samuel Ogbogoro, Head of Corporate Communications of the airline, made this known in a statement on Thursday in Lagos. Ogbogoro said that the airline would also open additional domestic routes by December this year. He said that the new routes would reinforce flight operations across its route network with the acquisition of additional aircraft to boost domestic operations. “Dana Air is pleased with the positive feedback it continues to receive from its passengers as well as their demand for the airline to extend services to the regional routes to offer excellent customer service. “The airline understands that the services of a reliable airline are built around schedule integrity and safety which remains the fulcrum of Dana’s entire operations,” he said. According to him, the airline will continue to operate flights in line with global safety standards. Dana Air currently operates over 20 flights daily from its hub at the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal 2, to Abuja, Port Harcourt and Uyo. (NAN)
